The beginning.

I've decided to start a blog about my adventures in fetish filmmaking. I hope someone finds this interesting. Anyway, I figured I'd start at the beginning.

I have a degree in video production and I also work professionally in the industry. However I'm a filmmaker at heart. I've been a struggling filmmaker for far too long. Anyway, In the midst of production of my epic Sci-Fi film... we lost our lead actress. We held auditions to find a new girl. Enter "Alex David". From this meeting and eventual casting we "finished" my film. Anyway, it was through Alex that I learned about the heroine peril genre.

Now I'm a huge comic book geek. I have 10 long boxes in my collection and a library of trades and hardbacks. I love superheros! The heroine peril genre interested me. Now, I'm gonna be honest... not all the fetish elements are my cup of tea. I do however love seeing hot girls in skimpy costumes fighting. I also LOVE heels... just wanted to throw that in there. ;-) There was talk early about me doing a peril film because of my background but I declined. I just wasn't sure if it was something I wanted to get into. I was really busy with other projects and I was worried that I just could not produce the type of material that the fans of this genre wanted.

Well... a few months went by and eventually I warmed to the idea of directing a peril film for SHG-Media. I'll go into the production of my first film on another post. I just wanted to say that though I'm not a consumer of the heroine peril genre, I feel as a filmmaker it is my duty to produce the best content possible. I hope fans will respect my honesty and realize my commitment to creating high quality content. In the end the product should speak for itself.

That's it for now. Hope you enjoy the blog! Please leave comments and I will reply to questions.

P.s. bpd is a reference to my old garage band. It is typed in lower case... just in case you were wondering. =)
